Md Sadekul Islam

Md. Sadekul Islam was born in Thakurgaon. He passed his Secondary education from Bandigoarh Sher-E-Bangla High School. He passed his Higher Secondary education from Dinajpur Govt. College and stood 19th position in the combined merit list from humanities group in Rajshahi Board. He was admitted himself then to Dhaka University in the Department of English in 2003.He obtained his B.A (Hons.) degree in English Literature and Language in 2006 and obtained his Master’s Degree in 2007 from the same Department and from the same University.

After the completion of his Master’s Degree, he joined as a Senior Language Teacher in Mastermind English Medium School, one of the reputed English Medium schools in Bangladesh. In 2009, he joined as a lecturer in the Department of English in Milestone College. In May 2010, he joined as a Lecturer in the School of English in Queens University.

Before joining IUBAT-International University of Business Agriculture and Technology, he had been doing his responsibility as a Coordinator in the School of English in Queens University from June 2011 at the entire satisfaction of the authority. In the academic field, he is interested in teaching at the University level in language as well as the literature especially, Shakespeare’s tragedy.Reading books, watching Cricket, doing any social welfare work is his favorite pastime. He has also fascination in listening patriotic songs.
