Md. Kawser Ahmed has been working as Assistant Professor at the Department of Languages in IUBAT-International University of Business Agriculture and Technology. Prior to joining at IUBAT, he had worked as Lecturer from 14 May, 2012. He was then promoted to the post of Assistant Professor at the Department of English in Z H Sikder University of Science & Technology, Shariatpur on 01 October, 2015. In addition he had worked as Chairman of the Department of English of the respective University from September, 2016 till 06 September, 2019.
He achieved Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics & ELT and Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the Department of English of the University of Dhaka. He concentrates on research interests in the arena of English Language Teaching and Learning within and beyond Native Country, Pedagogical Aspects in English Language, Teaching Techniques and Strategies, Learner Autonomy and Learner Centeredness, Speaking as a Skill of Enigma and Analysis on Errors of Non-native Learners.
He has been a member of Bangladesh English language Teachers’ Association (BELTA) and The AsiaTEFL. He has attended a number of national and international seminars and conferences on the practicality of English Language Teaching (ELT), English as a Second Language (ESL)/English as a Foreign Language (EFL) and English Language Teaching (ELT) in the context of present globalized world organized by BELTA, US Embassy, American Center and British Council. He has published a number of quality research articles on English Language Teaching (ELT) which have been indexed in different academic and research sites and wings of the world.
