Md. Kawsar Uddin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English and Foreign Languages. After completing his B.A. and M.A. Degrees in English from Jahangirnagar University, he began his career as a lecturer at the University of Development Alternative (UODA), Dhanmondi, in January 2011. After teaching there one tri-semester, he switched to Northern University Bangladesh. Prior to joining IUBAT, he worked as a full-time Lecturer in the Department of English at Southeast University, and taught British and American literature for two and a half year. In addition to teaching there, he worked as an advisor of Southeast University Language Club for two years. Mr Kawsar joined IUBAT’s the Department of Languages in 2013 and has been teaching here since. In addition, he has been working as an advisor of IUBAT Language Society. He has published a good number of academic papers in reputed peer-reviewed journals and presented papers at national and international conferences. Mr. Kawsar’s areas of interest include Shakespeare, Modern Poetry and Fiction, Literary Theory, Postmodernism and Post-Colonialism, Cultural Studies, Media Communication, and Film.
